If your house is being invaded by roaches there are several ways for you to stop it. Baits can be pretty effective for killing cockroaches. Baits use targeted extermination techniques that will allow the efficient destruction of the roaches living under your roof.

Baits come in gel form, with syringe applicators, or in plastic bottles. Be careful though. Never forget that baits are poison. Read the manufacturer’s label. Twice if you have to.

If you’re going to use baits outside, you need to put them in areas that have lots of moisture. Try to place them near hoses and downspouts and exterior faucets. Roaches love moisture. On the inside put your baits in corners, under the sinks, in dark damp places. The bathroom and the kitchen are ideal places to use the baits. The baits may be covered in plastic, so make sure that you get the right size station for the right size roach. Get a small bait station for a German cockroach and a larger one for the bigger insects.

If a certain type of roach bait does not seem to do the job properly simply try another brand. Remember, cockroaches are the ultimate survivors. Some of these creeps created immunity to quite a number of poisons.

You are not going to like what I have to say. But if you have cockroaches, they are only there because you let them in.

Ouch, that hurts, I know. But it is the truth.

You have to start killing cockroaches because one way or the other and probably without knowing, you have provided a place for them to live. Cockroaches are always on the move, looking for a comfortable place to stay. So if the path they travel runs through your house, there has to be good reason for it.

Here is the good news though: there are many ways for you to cut down this road traffic. The most important thing you can do is block the access to your house. Make sure there are no piles of leaves or lose trash nearby. Roaches love to get into wet damp areas where they can hide from the sunlight. They hate daylight!

These wet and damp areas are breeding grounds for roaches and you don’t want them anywhere near your house. Look for cracks in your foundation near the ground. Those cracks could lead up to the interior of your walls.

The inside of your house is just as important. If you have a lot of debris, piles of magazines, newspapers, or books, you are creating an ideal environment for the creeps you want to get rid of. And most important: keep your kitchen clean and dry. Killing cockroaches starts with keeping things clean, organized and tide.
